What a fun, rewarding day coaching this awesome group of ladies...more accustomed to gravel biking but keen to upskill on mountain bikes...we covered body position, braking, cornering, drops step ups, jumps and steep chutes. Sgòr Gaoith | Day 2 | 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

One big climb, one 9km descent!

What a way to kick-off our big mountain riding this week.

A big thanks to Jez, Roy, Frank, Bob and Nick who took on this Cairngorm classic and loved every second of it.

We didn't get the big revealing view at the summit, but the misty conditions added to the adventure.

And as for the 9km drop back down...
Just so much fun on the rocks, scree, peat bog, boulder fields and woodland singletrack.

Bring on day 3...

Beautiful day for the start of the @marmalademtb highlands and torridon trip. A nice scenic pedal to shake off the travel, check bikes and bodies are working and soak in the spectacular scenery...tomorrow we head up a hill.... taken in Rothiemurchus Forest by @mtbtrailskills

An absolute honour and privilege to be back @tour_de4 this year to support the incredible riders taking on the yellow ride challenge in the velodrome... such inspring stories from the true heroes of the day...and lovely to see so many returners from last year....my cup is full... by @mtbtrailskills

Some guiding trips honestly hardly feel like work...this past week was testing though. Luckily it was the bikes requiring fixing - not the riders! Finally used the adjustable spanner that's been in my leader bag for 9 years without use....plan A became B, C...etc. tow ropes and escape routes were used...its what we train for though 👍

We all still had fun and rode plenty of trails, including some new additions...definitely earned the coffee and cake!

Well, sometimes not everything goes to plan...all was going well until rock took out my rear mech...team pulled together to get bike rolling (chainless)...still got some trails done, and got home before the rain...

Bike fixable, no harm done..thankful for such an amazing group 😀 taken in Glentress MTB Trails by @mtbtrailskills
