I just wanted to post some details of this painting to give a thank you to the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation. I’m extremely grateful and excited to start my graduate study at Hunter College this fall thanks to their generosity.

Fontana dell’Oceano, oil on canvas, 40 x 46 in

About a year ago I came home from studying 4 months abroad in Rome. Ive always wanted the opportunity to travel abroad for an extended amount of time, but I never thought would be financially possible. However, thanks to the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship, I was able to make it happen. I’ve been extremely grateful for having been able to learn about different cultures, meet some great people, and see some amazing art face to face. This series of paintings are meant to be a thank you and to help spread awareness of this opportunity. by @mtivancsics
