Hobbling on thrashed calves this morning I expressed to Jamie without much forethought: I think completing a one day Pemi is a badge of honor. We’ve been doing this for a minute, and we’ve experienced and seen a few things. We certainly aren’t the fastest, but we’ve been around the block. So I kinda think I know what I’m talking about in regards to these matters. Having reflected on that thought in between coffees I can assure you that to me, the one day Pemi is a badge of honor, and one I’ll wear proudly.

Backpacker Magazine’s 2nd hardest day hike in America.
