📍Maine

It’s always a pleasure to take our Appalachian spirit out on the road to fresh new territory.

Our work trip to Maine was packed with authentic interviews, regional delights (oysters more beloved by some crew members than others…🦪), and exploring inspiring sights during downtime.

For example: Anybody know who that big spooky house belongs to?🎈 taken in Bangor, Maine by @mtncraft

For this @mission_wv shoot, the crew traveled to Charleston, WV to capture Lilli’s story. The final product shows off the lasting effects of mentorship, including Lilli’s experience with the school archery team and finding her passion for welding through tech school. 🏹👩🏻‍🏭

Every year, we team up with an Appalachian artist to design our film festival poster. This year, we’re excited to have @http.nicolelegrow fulfill the role!

Nicole LeGrow is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Huntington, WV. An alum of Marshall University, LeGrow’s skills range from ceramics, to drawing, to printmaking, and more.

Our team fell in love with her expressive style inspired by traditional tattoos, and from that, our 2026 poster was born!

Join us for our 4th annual festival at the historic @robinson_grand this October. Look forward to a weekend jam-packed with movies, art, and Appalachian heart.

Grip van + rain + deep gravel = call the tow truck...twice 💀

Do we have hard days? Yes. Will we still get the job done and have fun doing it? Obviously.

New Jersey, we still love you! 😅 taken in Mtn Craft by @mtncraft

Is National Barbecue Day a real thing? 🤔 We’ll take it as an excuse to share some summertime b-roll.

We had a blast at the Almost Heaven BBQ Bash in Upshur County last year. If you’re celebrating today, save us a bite! 🍗
