Happy Valentine’s from the goddess Venus herself! It is a love in ecstasy!🦪💦💘
This has been finished quite awhile ago but took months for me to feel confident enough to decide that it’s completed.

Energy, light and love, the sun and the sign leo is such a central part of our culture and our own growth. It is every mythos of origin and birth, pure creative energy. Leo is the ego in development. There is such excitement and power in the development of the self. originality is leonian. Let’s celebrate and love ourselves as a leo could and let’s do so with the intensity and power of the sun. ☀️🌈✨

Cancer is the home, the ancestral domain, where we belong. The cancerian realm deals with trauma and the way in which we navigate around, heal, or tear open old wounds. The power that lies with cancer is community and strength. It is the passage through which our spirits are lead to our corporeal body/bodies/family.

And another one 🥹

So excited to share that Fermentation has also been longlisted for the 2026 Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize, Catherine K. Gyllerstrom Imaginative Realism Award!

Fermentation is the fifth painting in my ongoing Alchemical Imagination series, so it feels especially sweet to see this one recognized alongside Venus. ❤️
⏩ swipe to see another stage in the process, pallete, Pooters, and some studies and sketch’s

Still kind of processing that two of my paintings made the longlist this year!! 🤯

Thank you @beautifulbizarremagazine, @bearwolfbooks + @catherine.k.gyllerstrom ✨

Finalists will be announced beginning August 26 🤞 taken in Los Angeles, California by @mtseng.art
