The drink everyone keeps asking us to bring back.

Meet the Hồ Chí Cha - our Vietnamese Coffee Hojicha. Our take on a dirty hojicha, reimagined through our Vietnamese roots. Roasty hojicha, bold Vietnamese coffee, and a flavour combination that somehow just works.

If you haven’t seen it on our menu lately, that’s intentional.

This morning with LilBig was exactly why we built Mua Cha, bringing together people who care about movement, wellbeing and good energy.

Matcha is more than a pretty drink: naturally caffeinated, rich in L-theanine and antioxidants, giving you a smoother, more sustained sense of energy and focus than the usual coffee hit.

What is oolong tea?

From fresh, floral Baozhong to warming Dong Ding and deeply oxidised Red Oolong, the final flavour depends on two things:

1. Cultivar = the ingredient
2. Tea-making style = the recipe

Change the leaf, and the same recipe can create a completely different personality.

My Red Oolong comes from Taitung on Taiwan’s east coast. The type of type I’ve been drinking since 10. Hand-picked on a family farm, it’s smooth and naturally full of wild peach, guava and light honey notes.

Cold-brewed after a sweaty workout.
Served hot after a big meal.
For me, it tastes like home 🏠

Matcha isn’t just powdered green tea. 🍵

And sencha, tencha, hojicha, gyokuro and kabusecha aren’t different plants either.

They all start with Camellia sinensis.
