new spring special from @muachatea

look at this gorgeous matcha line up!! every drink from muacha is unique and creative, especially their new market special. having been to their popups a few times already, I was so excited to try something new, and I was not disappointed!!

new market special ~ taipei fog is a unique combination of oolong tea, honey, coconut water and slight hints lemongrass, which is topped off with the sweet yabukita matcha cream. although the matcha was on the lighter side, there was a great balance between the flavours. the lemongrass was a great addition and made it so refreshing to drink.

**they even showed us a little trick on how to perfectly mix our matcha!!

our order:
~ muacha special (most left and right drinks)
~ taipei fog (second from left)

highly recommend giving all their drinks a try, and having a chat with the owners about their drinks. genuinely the friendliest people 🍀

Life is so sweet right now. 🌾
Spring has sprung peeps!!
Here are some things I’ve been doing recently with my time:
• Beach walks with friends;
• Running longer distances (hoping to build up to a 1/2 marathon again!!);
• Loving the work I do;
• Training Aylie & taking her out into the big, wide world;
• Cooking/baking (I still really suck, but getting there);
• Reading the TOG series;
• Spending time in the community…

I think with all of this going on (^), I’ve had less time to be online / scrolling. I don’t think the scrolling does me any good either, to be totally honest. It takes me away from the joy & presence I’ve mentioned, and separates me from this feeling of ‘wholeness’… does that make sense?

I love being creative on here, so I’m trying to find balance between enjoying social media, whilst maintaining strong boundaries along the way.

Anyways, food for thought.
Have an amazing weekend! 🤍x

my evening hojicha latte (fave time of the day)☕️🍂

i opened @muachatea ‘s dark roast hojicha made from tencha leaves. from wazuka, this one is an organic powder (like their matcha) maybe this is the key to the beautifully creamy texture that I’ve found across all three of their matcha/hojicha powders?!

anyway, beautifully creamy as mentioned above. i loveee the deeper, roasted flavour it has compared to matcha. a bit more dry on the mouth, and so i enjoyed this one with milk. it’s a very comforting flavour, not sweet nor bitter, but just balanced yk?

thank u @muachatea for sharing this with me 🫶🏻

⭐️🌞MARKET DAY!!!!!!!!!🌞⭐️

Yippee super grateful to have done another market selling my handmade cards and stickers! Lots has been going on in the lead up to the market on top of my regular work and uni assignments (just submitted another assignment 2 hours ago 🫩) but I think it went well!

I am always super happy when my friends come and visit always (kind of an excuse to see each other despite our never overlapping schedules hashtag 20s). There were also few people who visited from seeing this Instagram account too which I am so pleasantly surprised by! (๑･̑◡･̑๑) thank you!!

Anyways thank you for an awesome day can’t wait for the next market (stay tuned!)
