Behind the scenes from my first editorial with @glammalaysia 🤍
I am so so grateful to have had this opportunity to be featured amongst great Malaysian talents - and to the team who made me feel super comfortable with the camera, without them I would have been horribly awkward… even more special because I was in @shals.kl ! by @mulaikalov

Reflecting on our rapidly changing world.

Mulaika, notably the youngest artist to exhibit at the National Art Gallery in 2019, explores themes of impermanence, environmental change, and the human condition.

Inspired by a Malay proverb, 𝑯𝒖𝒋𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒌 captures extreme uncertainty while paying homage to the artist’s lineage in Batu Kikir, Negeri Sembilan with subtle Minangkabau Rumah Godang roof forms.
