The cover for my graphic novel, published by @kugalimedia's Kugali Ink, an imprint of @disneybooks was finalised by Daniel Tawia Quartey and Etubi Onucheyo.

The inspiration for this composition was entirely homegrown! I wanted to bring a little piece of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 into the world of Runeless by drawing on our beautiful balancing rocks, natural formations that have become both a celebrated wonder and an enduring national symbol.

I started with a series of sketches, experimenting with how the rocks could frame the three protagonists while also hinting at the larger mystery surrounding them. At the centre of it all is that looming, shadowy figure... the presence controlling the magic of their world.

Seeing those early sketches evolve into the final piece has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m really proud of how it came together. I can’t wait for you to finally see it on shelves when Runeless hits stores on 6 October!

"Rice (Rise) Season in Abegistan"
24 by 36 inches
Acrylic on canvas
For the good people @gatefieldcaustival, something on the rigged system that is Nigeria. The political elites above on there high horses hoarding wealth while letting what may trinkle down. the masses stuck in the middle blinded and turned upside down by the narrative spun by those in power and below the so called checks and balances already have their scales 'balanced' by whatever those above have let fall. All these things upon stormy skies and turbulent seas.

Two things:
1, been a While since me and the bro @ifesinachiadrian collabed on anything
2, been a while since I proper fan art for anything.
So when bro hit me up that he wanted me to color this, I dove straight in. This is first page in the project and can't wait to finish and share. 🙏🏾

This is a sketch my bro @ifesinachiadrian sent me in 2020 and had just been sitting my email and when I started missing the old days i just...😅
