The last few weeks have been an absolute whirlwind and a real rollercoaster of emotions.

But amongst it all, there have been two incredible highs that have given me the opportunity to stop, reflect and feel genuinely proud of how far I’ve come.

A couple of weeks ago, I graduated from Henley Business School with a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration. An achievement that, at various points along the way, felt completely beyond my capabilities! There were certainly moments of self-doubt, but I got there. And now? I’m even exploring funding opportunities to take that next step towards an MBA. Who would have thought?!

Today, I was incredibly proud to receive a Valuable Service Award in recognition of my career as an MOD Civil Servant. It really has made me reflect on where I started, the journey I’ve been on and just how far I’ve come. So many experiences, challenges, opportunities, wonderful people and memories along the way.

But neither of these achievements is mine alone.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have some truly amazing humans alongside me throughout my journey. Those who have encouraged me when I’ve doubted myself, offered a few positive words when I’ve needed them most, shared the giggles (and occasionally the frustrations!), celebrated the little wins and helped make the bigger achievements possible.

It’s often the smallest gestures that make the biggest difference.

So, to everyone who has played a part in my journey, whether professionally or personally, thank you. I feel genuinely humbled, grateful and very lucky to have had you alongside me.

Here’s to reflecting on how far we’ve come, being proud of what we’ve achieved and remembering that we’re rarely on the journey alone. by @munchkin35

WHAT a weekend! Camp Kindling was MEGA!! The kids LOVED it, we made big hotels, hair wreaths, terrazzo pots, went on a botanical story walk, learnt how to dance to K-Pop and went to a K-Pop party, we danced, we laughed and we made amazing memories! by @munchkin35

12 years since our precious angel grew wings. Some days the tears aren’t so silent, I still feel the loss and grief associated with a silent miscarriage.

Having 3 beautiful girls, does not erase losing the hopes and dreams we had for the future with our first.

My most comforting hope today, is that whilst my dad didn’t create space to meet his grandchildren on earth, he may have the opportunity to be the best grandad ever to JellyBean, in heaven xx

We took full advantage of a babysitter on Sunday and went for a mooch around Lincoln and after a conversation with @jillyj43 and @slimjimbob101 several months ago, we eventually got to The Pale in Lincoln. Proud Mummy Moment- this weekend The Short Girls took on the Future Outlaw events with Polly and Florence running 1.2 miles and Matilda running 2.4 miles. There were lots of giggles along the way, fair to say that having expected Florence to smash it, she decided she had “the worst stitch EVER” and Polly became solar powered so taking in to consideration I still can’t run post op’, Simon and I had to do a switcheroonie as I couldn’t keep up with her! Matilda kept @the_dashing_chimney_sweep company and assures me she didn’t whinge (thank you so much Dashy for helping us out!) Fair to say, no matter what happened on the runs, all 3 loved running down the orange carpet that represents @outlawtriathlon Massive thank you to Paul’s son @two26_photography for the amazing images 🤣 taken by Paul 😘 by @munchkin35

Today was a moment…. The swim was cancelled and a duathlon replaced the triathlon. I decided to “run” walk the 1.5k first leg with our friend @munchkin35 after Louise having an operation earlier on in the year. So we both hobbled and chatted the first leg of the race. Ending up in T1 dead last, looking at empty bike racks. That was worth it, for Lou. I then set to work on the TT bike. PB 10 miles and ending up in 42nd out of 163. With being able to watch Sam’s 5k was epic. A great morning and a great race by @outlawtriathlon . Thank you all. ❤️ taken in Holme Pierrepont National Watersports Centre by @munchkin35

Matilda asked if we could go to the Stage Door, I said “no, what a ridiculous idea, I’m shattered” ……NOT! So, off to the Stage Door we went and seeing Matilda interact with the cast was the most amazing thing! Also got to meet @thatadamgarcia who was genuinely lovely. Safe to say, Matilda is now hooked on musicals and I am thrilled! by @munchkin35
