Outlaw original weekend. What a memorable and brilliant weekend.

Today was a moment…. The swim was cancelled and a duathlon replaced the triathlon. I decided to “run” walk the 1.5k first leg with our friend @munchkin35 after Louise having an operation earlier on in the year. So we both hobbled and chatted the first leg of the race. Ending up in T1 dead last, looking at empty bike racks. That was worth it, for Lou. I then set to work on the TT bike. PB 10 miles and ending up in 42nd out of 163. With being able to watch Sam’s 5k was epic. A great morning and a great race by @outlawtriathlon . Thank you all. ❤️

Volunteer Spotlight 💛

Meet Louise, the voice of Revesby Running Festival.

If you’ve ever crossed the finish line to hear your name called out, felt that extra encouragement when things got tough, or celebrated a PB with someone cheering you home, chances are you’ve met Louise.

As she put it:

“As the volunteer announcer, I have the best seat in the house. I get to share in every runner’s highs, encourage them through the lows, and witness the incredible determination that makes grassroots events so special.”

Louise also summed up exactly what Revesby is all about:

“The smaller, community-led events still create the strong connections, the big smiles and memorable experiences.”

It’s volunteers like Louise who help turn a running event into a community. Giving up their time, bringing endless energy and making every runner, whether first or last feel like a champion.

From all of us at Trident Sports Events, thank you, Louise. We couldn’t do it without you. 💙

Appreciative of the trailblazers who broke barriers, inspired by the trailblazers who break barriers alongside me, and looking forward to the trailblazers who will continue to break barriers. Always be the woman who would speak highly of another woman even if she's not in the room.

Quite the evening. A fireside chat with three world class chefs who hold several Michelin stars between them, followed by some delightful food, wine and company. Also, a hefty stint of fangirl behaviour... And no, not by me.

Ladies, STOP saying shit like this…

“I couldn’t possibly do that.”

I hear it all the time - especially from Women in their 30s and 40s.

Busy Women.
Ambitious Women.
Mums.
Career jugglers.
Life jugglers.
Women who literally do it ALL — and still make time for the gym.

But here’s the truth:

Showing up isn’t enough.

Endless cardio.
HIIT. Spin. Circuits. Dance.
Burning out and still not seeing results?

That’s not on you - it’s the approach.

It’s not about working harder.
It’s about training smarter.

With purpose.
With intention.
Building real strength — in and out of the gym.

And yes — it can even be fun.
Especially when Women support Women 💪
Just like my client @munchkin35 and her gym bestie (song request granted).

You’re stronger than you think.
You just haven’t unlocked it yet.

It's always good to reflect...

On the race season in the UK we have had, lots of athletes on the course, many miles raced, lots of countries raced in, and most importantly lots of memories made and laughs had!

Excited to see how friends and athletes racing at #IMWales and #IMWCNice do this weekend. Rip it uppppp🔥

Thank you to @outlaw and @longcourseweekend and athletes racing all across the country and beyond!
