We are very excited to announce our IDentity festival, which we have been preparing over the past few months.

We, the Munich Wallflowers, wanted to explore the theme of identity and all the symbols, rituals, scents, and colors that make up who we are.

From September 24 to October 10, we’ll have a wonderful program filled with workshops, music, literature, panel discussions, and performances, accompanied by a permanent exhibition that’s free to the public.

Check out our program here ⬇️

And for the final weekend of IDentity, we had the wonderful @losnortenosdebavaria and @diego.egr who lit up the night with norteño music.

Thanks also to Luis Álvarez from @verbindendes_muc for joining us with his film Multicultural Flow, an excellent documentary about artists in Munich.

Thank you to all the attendees, artists, volunteers, family and friends whose support made this festival possible! 💕✨️

Identity is life’s big puzzle. These pieces are the result of a conversation with myself, with my hometown and with Norteño culture.

You can see these works at our Identity Art Festival at Kopfbau Riem 🤠
