6 years without my beautiful Granma. Grief is such a weird thing, some days it’s okay, others it’s not. Even after all these years I still miss you deeply everyday. I wish i was given more time with you, more time to not take advantage of, time to tell you how much i appreciated you and loved you, time to get to learn more from you, and time where i could walk next door no matter the day or time and you were always there with open arms. You were and continue to be one of the biggest inspirations in my life. I will always be amazed by how you loved others, put your all into everything, how you never let your judgement cloud your heart, how you always took care of me, how you to this day are the type of women i strive to become, how you were the best mother, wife, and Granma a family could ask for. Although I only 13 years of life with you, those years were full of the most love, joy, and happiness i’ve ever been given. You were my biggest supporter and my best friend, you left this world, but you never left my heart and my life. Granma you truly are the glue in my life. Thank you for leaving me with a family who loves me unconditionally and always welcomes me with open arms. Thank you for raising your kids to know how family should act and treat each other. Thank you for giving me the hardest working father, the most genuine aunts and uncles, a Granpa who always shows up, and the best cousins. You left this family with the best foundation we could ask for. I love you always. by @murphy_lorelai
