Dear SEU,

Thank you for one of the most challenging but most rewarding years of my life! As hard has it is to close this chapter of my life, I am leaving with more than I could’ve ever asked for!!

I have been pushed beyond my comfort zone and have been stretched in more ways than one. But, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. The Lord has grown me in so many ways and so am forever grateful for everything that I have gone through and for all the friendships I have built!!

Sometimes when the Lord tells you to do something, you often question why and don’t understand the reason. But it’s in those moments that you put your trust in his hands and let him write your story!

It’s so hard to leave, but I know that this isn’t goodbye!! SEU will forever hold a special place in my heart along with the people he has blessed me with.

Dear freshman year,
The things you have given me, taught me, and even taken away. i have grown so much in myself and found who i am without the shadows of others. there’s some things i’ve learned that i want to share.

1. the hardest things tend to have the most fruit and grow you the most. moving 9 hours away from my family was one of the most difficult things i have ever done, but it is also one of the best things i have ever done. i have grown in the best ways and i have learned to thrive!

2. GET. A. DISNEY. PASS.
- i don’t need to even explain. disney is so fun and honestly has made me learn to feel like it’s okay to be a kid again and have fun!

3. you will find your people. i came into this season of life terrified that i was going to be alone. oh boy was i wrong. i have met the most amazing people and they love me for me. not for who i feel like i have to be around them. people will love you do you no matter what. keep them close and love them forever.

4. IT IS OKAY TO DO THINGS ALONE! i have learned that doing things alone is fun! it is okay to learn to be alone! i love having me time and it is so much fun just being brave and learning to do it alone! we can grow and find wisdom in the quiet moments in life alone.

5. learn to love life! it may suck at some points but there is so much to learn and love in this life and you have to just be bold and go!!

those are just a few things u have learned and MAKE THE MEMORIES. PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE. IT CAN BE SCARY BUT YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT!!!! SEU has blessed me in ways i will never forget and cannot wait for sophomore year!!!
