Happy Birthday to my sweet baby boy 🥳 I’m so grateful to be your mom and have loved this first year with you. I love picking you up from your crib in the morning, watching you flap your arms when you’re happy, snuggling with you until you fall asleep, feeding you sweet potatoes, going on long walks through the canyon, reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, dancing to 90s hip hop, watching you find your pacifier and plop it into your mouth, comforting you when you’re sad, creating a hug sandwich with you and Dad, playing peek-a-boo to hear you giggle, and every single glowing smile. I can’t get enough of you 💛 by @murphy_shannon

Last week of maternity leave means all sorts of adventures for Dew-drop and me. Here we are at the MCA Denver… I assure you he had a great time despite the mug on his face 😆 by @murphy_shannon

My little love, Dewey Townes, was right on time—born early morning on New Year’s Eve. 4 lbs. and 11 ounces, Dewey was so strong, and fiercely entered the world and our hearts. Sean and I have been taking in every single cuddle and coo. I couldn’t be happier or more in love. by @murphy_shannon

It’s “Get Out the Vote” time with my young, brilliant artists. They all cared so much about their poster designs, and happily volunteered to hang posters in the windows of their homes, too. #getoutthevote by @murphy_shannon
