May 2024 dump 2 of 2:

1. A pretty rad blusher (id is iffy).
2. Neighborhood pools are complex mini-societies that I've never known about until now. The politics are faaaaaascinating and I'm thankful for the sun and water and friends.
3. Thought it was cute, might delete later.
4. Lila.
5. I and so many others mourn the loss of the light known as Emmie. She was such a great dog that I didn't have the pleasure of knowing long enough, but maaaaaaaaaan, she established a place in my heart so quickly. Thanks, @ashki_cheeks for raising one helluva dog.
6. Learned a good bit of basic bicycle maintenance as required. One thing led to another and I learned about a few other sloppy jobs done by the person who sold me the bike. Learning is always good, learning is never bad.
7. @dkhill24 graduated high school, so @theniseyexperience (legiterally the best hair professional) celebrated all week (and legend has it she is still out there celebrating even now 🤣). Congrats, DK!!! And even bigger congrats on landing the sweet career!
8. I made some silly art just to make some silly art.
9. Pictures will never do this place justice. It was a big energy, fae-filled, spiritual spot that birthday boy @justinmakephoto and I waded out to on the property of the cabin he and @champagndrea rented for his birthday weekend. Overlooking all of it was this giant pregnant tree (pictured). Maybe Justin has a better photo? I was lost in wonder and didn't take many. It was such a force. All that to say, rebirth and growth were the central theme as all 3 of us each came into the cabin with a new event on the horizon, as it were. A brilliant time for a brilliant human. Happy birthday, Justin!!! Love you!

May 2024 dump 1 of 2

1. A new friend when I needed one.
2. Grandpa's report cards which showcase perfectly the beginning of what eventually led him to working at NASA.
3. A great fucking guy who is trying real hard to fit on a bike that's fit for my more simian proportions. It is his birthday today, too! — — — More on that in dump 2.
4. The fruit of two relationships' passive attention. I've never attributed so much human emotion to a fruit, but it made me cry. I hope it ripens well and becomes a delicious treat shared with love.
5. A few wildflowers grown from seed, drying to be put with my other emotional support dried flowers.
6. Beautiful begonia blooms.
7. @justinmakephoto and @champagndrea took me on an emotional support hike and I found one of my favorite forest happenings (a tree branch goes horizontal and grows its own mini trees going vertical).
8. Exploring a new backyard, I almost face planted a snake.
9. Also found the growth from a fun time friends had in their yard rolling pumpkins down the steep drive.
10. Justin got along well with Lila. Surprised?

Yesterday I got to get this close 🤏 to a Merlin and had such a great time with Larry (I was answering all the questions that the kids couldn't and I laughed at his jokes) and the @chattahoocheenaturecenter! Ugh, so good. And all while wearing my new favorite shirt from @onceovercoffee! And I'm so thankful for @kittycatcarter, @jaclynbober, @champagndrea, and @guccimaim1017 for coming to explore with me. #blessed taken in Chattahoochee Nature Center by @murphyaajay

#februllage2024 | day twenty-nine | extra

What a blast it has been this year! Thanks to everyone who enjoyed and liked my work throughout this month. Big hugs to all. Looking forward to next year already. I have learned a lot about my personal art practice and what makes the effort worth it. Oh, and cheers to all the Februllage participants! The work I've seen from the world has been absolutely mind warping and beautiful.
