So now begins the great re-housing of the aloes as they come in after summering out on the deck for the last few months. by @murrrayfox

#summurrreading Enjoyed another Agatha Christie this weekend. Long weekend reading totally lends itself to a fluffy little whodunnit. I suspected who the murderer might have been early in the story and then Ms Christie pulled the rug out from under me. A great mystery but man-o-man the ending does not hold up. Not a great look for feminism. 🤪 by @murrrayfox

Sometimes, you just need to curl up with a good whodunnit. I figured how the “who” and the “how” but I totally biffed the “why”
Insert sad trombone noise here
One of these days I’ll figure it all out and you’ll be able to call me Murrcule Poirot. Or Miss Murrple.

Finished this #summurrearreading over the weekend. It’s not deep. I wouldn’t say it’s particularly insightful. But if you’re a fan of the show, you’re probably going to want to check the book out and peek into the heads of some of the winners. by @murrrayfox

#summurrearreads gave this a listen on the recommendation of @zachhynes.
I enjoyed the story, but it’s definitely a “thinky” book. This would be a great book discussion book, cuz there’s lots to ponder and wonder about. by @murrrayfox

#summurrearreading A lovely sequel to the first novel that picks right up where the first book ended. There are a couple of gut punches, but also some pleasant surprises as Aristotle’s world expands in his last year of high school. I wasn’t sure that the author was going to stick the landing, but I think that he did. by @murrrayfox

#summurrreading Finished this book earlier this week. A sweet little romance between a private investigator (who also happens to be a high school teacher) and a baker (who also happens to share responsibilities for protecting her town from the Dark Forces that live beneath the town). Filled with quirky characters and sarcastic humour. #tanyahuff by @murrrayfox

#summurrearreading I haven’t listened to an Inspector Gamache before and I quite enjoyed the experience. A compelling mystery and some interesting side stories with much less emphasis on the political intrigue that has bogged down some of the earlier novels. by @murrrayfox

#summurrreading it’s been a banner year for Survivor. 50 seasons and a book written by one of my favourites! A wonderful look into the characters and gameplay from someone there near the very beginning.

Did a reread of the Heartstopper books this weekend before starting (and finishing) the final book in the series. A very satisfying conclusion to the story of Nick, Charlie and their collection of friends.

This book took me a little while to get into… there are a lot of characters and world building going on. But once I settled in to the book, I quite enjoyed it. Thanks for the recommendation @alphabetpony !
To be fair, a lot of things are explained in the glossary at the back of the book (which I didn’t happen across until I finished the novel🤪)
