What an incredible honor to celebrate the 2026 Ithaca College Hall of Fame induction of our 1991 NCAA Division III National Championship Football Team! 🏆

It was a privilege to play for the legendary Coach Jim Butterfield and stand shoulder to shoulder once again with my Bomber Brothers, 35 years later!

“TOGETHER GAME BY GAME” wasn’t just our motto. It was the belief, commitment, and brotherhood that carried us to a 12–1 season and a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! 🏆

The lessons learned from our coaches, teammates, and IC’s winning culture went far beyond football and helped shape my 33-year teaching and coaching career.

Sharing this unforgettable moment with my sons Connor and Ryan, my best friend and wife Michele, and my biggest fans, Mom and Dad, was absolutely PRICELESS! 💙

Three amazing days of reconnecting, sharing stories, reliving old memories, and creating new ones with our families. The years may pass, but the bonds of brotherhood NEVER fade!

To our 1991 Bomber Brothers no longer with us, your legacy lives on, and you will NEVER be forgotten. 💙🙏

🏈 ITHACA COLLEGE FOOTBALL — HALL OF FAME 2026 🏈

I am beyond excited to be reunited with my Bomber Brothers from the 1991 NCAA Division III National Championship Team as we are honored together as part of the Ithaca College Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

“TOGETHER GAME BY GAME”

It wasn’t just a mantra — it was something we truly believed in. It defined the culture, brotherhood, commitment, and trust we shared both on and off the gridiron.

The 1991 Bombers were a truly special group of players and coaches who came together with one common goal. I am incredibly proud to have been a part of that championship team and to have contributed to the Winning Tradition established by the legendary Coach Jim Butterfield and his coaching staff.

The championships, wins, and memories will always be special, but the relationships and brotherhood we built along the way have lasted a lifetime.

On October 9, 2026, it will be an incredible honor to stand alongside my Bomber Brothers once again and have our team recognized for what we accomplished during that unforgettable 1991 National Championship season.

Thirty-five years later, the bond remains.

We couldn’t be more proud of the young man you have become. You are talented, bright, kind, thoughtful, and have a heart as big as that amazing smile of yours.

Happy 21st Birthday to my little Princess, Emily Grace!
You light up this world with your personality, your beautiful smile, your strength, and the way you bring so much energy and happiness wherever you go.
Watching you grow from my little girl into the incredible young woman you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I am so proud of the person you have become—strong, determined, caring, loyal, and always willing to stand up for the people you love.

TEAM 91 FRENZY 2030 🥍💙🧡

What a way to finish an incredible season! The Team 91 Frenzy 2030 squad showed up and showed out at the Maryland Cup, capping off the summer with an outstanding 25-8 overall record and finishing #8 in the USA Club Rankings 🇺🇸.

We couldn’t be more proud of this special group of young ladies. They trusted the process, embraced every challenge, put in the work every day, and competed fearlessly against every team that stepped on the field.

Success isn’t built overnight—it’s earned through grit, determination, coachability, and a commitment to being great teammates. This group embodies everything our program stands for, and the future is incredibly bright.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our players, families, and supporters. Your dedication, sacrifice, and belief in our vision made this unforgettable season possible.

What an amazing day with some of the original Team 91 family… the OG 2023 Bandits back on the field together, this time coaching and evaluating the next generation of 2030 girls.

I’m truly blessed to have coached these incredible young women throughout their travel lacrosse journey, and it’s an honor to watch them now thriving at the collegiate level. Even more special is seeing them return to the Team 91 program to give back by mentoring and inspiring the future of the game.

Congratulations to Ryan Murtha #4 on receiving ALL COUNTY MIDFIELDER HONORS last night at the S.C.L.C.A Banquet… you & your teammates earned & deserved all of the accolades you were presented! You were LEADERS and let your actions on the field speak for themselves.. You left it ALL on the field. Shout out to all the Colonials that played with Heart & Hustle and without the TEAM, the individual honors would not be possible. Congrats to Coach Megna & his staff on receiving Coach of the Year Award. Proud of you Ryan Michael, you trust the process, out work everyone & play with Heart & Purpose.. set the bar high & keep grinding anything is possible, next year started yesterday, so get back to work & lead the way. Team Frenzy competed at Lax for the Cure this weekend and played their hearts out for each other and for something much bigger than the game. 💞

The girls battled with passion, grit, and togetherness all weekend while supporting an incredible cause to help LAX OUT Cancer. This tournament is about more than wins and losses—it’s about honoring, remembering, and fighting for all those impacted by cancer.

Sending love, strength, and prayers to all the warriors and families in our lacrosse community. We play for each other, we play with purpose, and we play for those still fighting.
