Just a few pictures from last Saturday night’s event, the 40th Annual Trappings of Texas Ranch Rodeo Roundup Party and Live Auction in Alpine, Texas. Thank you to Alex, Kristi and the entire organization for booking The Justin Trevino Band for this wonderful event benefiting the @museumofthebigbend located on the Sul Ross State University campus. This event is the longest running exhibition and sale of contemporary Western art and custom cowboy gear in the country. taken in Alpine, Texas by @museumofthebigbend

A huge THANK YOU to our staff, volunteers, sponsors, artists, gear makers, and visitors who made our 40th annual Trappings of Texas a huge success! We sold out weeks in advance and have had the most art on display ever. The show is still on display until October 31! Come by and see it and maybe find a piece of Trappings that you can purchase and take home. by @museumofthebigbend

I was so incredibly shocked and honored to have been awarded the Best in Show for my paintings at the Museum of Big Bend's 40th annual Trappings of Texas Exhibit. It's the longest-running exhibition and sale of contemporary Western art and custom cowboy gear in the country.

And to add another shock.. I was selected to be the premier artist for next year's show!!! I'm truly honored and can't thank director Dr. Emily Wilkinson and curator Milo Frias enough. taken in Museum of the Big Bend by @museumofthebigbend
