I’m trying something new…

Sing & Play 🎶

This play along is designed for younger children and those with SEND 🌈

Children can sing along and play tuned percussion 🔴🟠🟡

I’d love to know what you think? Would you like more?

Oh, and it’s out NOW!!

As well as the play along video there is a video with just the backing track as well 😌

And…. The resources include:

🎵 Play along/Backing tracks
🎵 Sheet music with and without note names
🎵 Sheet music with coloured notes
🎵 Sheet music with guitar/ukulele chords

Enjoy 🤘 by @musicwithmrgray

I’m going to be shifting my focus onto creating my song book this academic year 🎶

It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while now and I know lots of you have been asking for one 😌

My plan is to have the option of a digital and physical book (with links to backing tracks) 📕

I don’t plan on stopping my instrumental play alongs but they won’t be as frequent as they used to be 🎵

I’ll continue with my new Fret, Set, Go! - Guitar play alongs 🎸

As time is precious I’d love to know what instrumental play alongs would be most beneficial to you? by @musicwithmrgray

Here’s a sample of what I’d like each page of the book to look like. I’d love your feedback!

Basically it will have the title (probably not in colour), the sheet music of the melody and the accompanying chords followed by instructions (if and when appropriate).

The book would have links to backing tracks (if and when appropriate)

Is there any other info you’d want on there? by @musicwithmrgray

Scarf song - Autumn leaves

This one is from last year but thought I’d make a new video (because I lost the old one 🤣)

Wow!!!

Just found out that the Future Musicians Initiative that I helped to develop with devonmusicedhub has been shortlisted for the Music & Drama Education Awards 2027!

I composed 6 pieces of music that can be played by children of any standard, meaning primary and secondary schools can get together to perform as a large ensemble. Some of our ensembles had over 200 musicians!!
