Please as a reminder don’t set off fireworks in the middle of the day. Don’t get me wrong…I love seeing fireworks and As a pet owner I plan ahead for when fireworks are expected to go off at night for multiple nights in a row around the 4th of July…I do not expect them to be shot off at 3:30 in the afternoon when giving the dogs outside time before the scary boom boom night. (Also what a waste to set one off in the middle of the day) but now I’m having to play catch up with their calming meds, which may not even work now. by @muttsofnashville

Today my baby girl is 12 yrs old! My dear Hope Evangeline aka Hopealine, miss sassy pants, baby girl. She loves her boys aka my nephews, tiny tennis balls, cardboard and more…tomorrow, aka my bday, will be exactly 12 years since I met her! Less than 24 hrs after she was born!! I love her so much and I am thankful for every minute I get with her as she gets more and more grey sprinkles. 💗🥳 ps did you see that catch she had today!?! 🐾 by @muttsofnashville

How is this boy THREE today!? Puck is always bringing a smile to my face! This was my last attempt (of several) of picking him up to try to recreate this picture 😂😂😂 (video to come later of all of the attempts 😂) i think i did fairly well considering he has gained prob about 60-70 pounds since the first picture! 😆 by @muttsofnashville

Four years. I still can’t believe it’s been that long since I lost my heart and soul dog, Ritz. The hardest part? I had to make the final decision — something I begged not to do. I must have asked my mom and @kristenkatichsweat a thousand times, “Do I really have to do this? I don’t want to.”

Ritz, my unicorn boy — I miss you every single day. From NOLA to Nashville to Franklin, you were by my side through every move, every chapter. You healed me in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. You made my world better, all while silently hiding how sick you were until you just couldn’t anymore.

Sometimes I still question everything: Did I miss a sign? Was he acting differently? The grief is still sharp, still confusing. I don’t know if I’ll ever fully get over losing you — but loving and losing you prepared me for what came next.

I’ll always carry you with me. 💔🌈🐾
P.s. it’s stupid that the rainbow bridge doesn’t have visiting hours. by @muttsofnashville
