Last night, we had the opportunity to welcome Regan Simpson, Associate Account Coordinator at Orange Barrel Media, for her presentation, “Beyond the Internship: A Guide to Full-Time.”

Regan discussed important pillars to keep in mind throughout an internship, including how to make the most of your experience and position yourself for future opportunities. She also shared insight into full-time and return offers and what students can do to make a strong impression during their internships. Reflecting on her own experiences, Regan reminded our members that it is okay to make mistakes and that setbacks are opportunities to learn rather than reasons to get discouraged.

Our members left feeling more prepared to make the most of their internships, navigate the transition into full-time opportunities, and embrace the learning experiences that come along the way. Thank you, Regan, for sharing your insight and advice with our members!

Before the general meeting, Professor Dr. Carol McGuire led our new members through a budgeting activity focused on building strong financial habits. She shared practical strategies for managing finances and encouraged members to think intentionally about their financial goals. We are so grateful for her time and guidance in helping our members develop skills that will benefit them both during college and beyond. by @muwib
