🇺🇸🎬 FROM THE BATTLEFIELD TO THE BIG SCREEN — LOS ANGELES, I’M COMING HOME! 🎬🇺🇸

OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCING — FEATURED SPEAKER!

I am beyond honored, humbled, and excited to announce that I will be a FEATURED SPEAKER at the 2nd Annual National Military & Veteran Film Festival, presented by The National Entertainment Academy for Military & Veterans (MVA) during Veterans Day Week!

📅 November 7, 2026
📍 Bob Hope Patriotic Hall
📍 Los Angeles, California

THIS ONE HITS DIFFERENT!

I’m a California kid. Raised in the streets of Los Angeles County, where the odds weren’t always in my favor, where survival was sometimes the only thing we understood, and where dreams seemed bigger than the opportunities around us.

Who would have thought that the same kid who experienced adversity, walked through the doors of the Los Angeles County jail, and eventually enlisted in the United States Army would one day return home as a Bronze Star recipient, retired combat veteran, philanthropist, motivational speaker, life coach, entrepreneur, and New York Globe bestselling author?

BUT GOD HAD A DIFFERENT SCRIPT FOR MY LIFE! 🙏🏾 by @mvaawards

Ryan Curtis and David B. Meadows take the lead photo, spotlighting their award-winning film, Hollywood Grit.

Thank you, Skirball, for helping shine a light on military and veteran talent. This is how we keep changing the narrative!

Brad Pitt is a great actor—and I hope Heart of the Beast is a great film.

But when Hollywood tells veteran stories, shouldn’t qualified veteran actors at least receive serious consideration for these roles?

This isn’t about who is allowed to play a veteran. It’s about creating opportunities for veterans who bring both talent and lived experience to the screen.

What do you think?
