A throwback to one of my favorite days of senior year.

SCAD Fashion Jury 2026

Being able to present my collection to such an inspiring panel of jurors and have the opportunity to share the thought and craftsmanship behind each piece made this day especially meaningful. The unique way of this year’s jury event made the experience even more memorable.

Designed like a fashion bazaar, each designer had their own booth to showcase their work, connect with others, and exchange ideas before the jury show.

One of the most memorable moments was seeing so many people wanting to try on my basket-woven dress, even Paul Sevigny! Seeing a piece I had spent so much time creating spark so much curiosity was incredibly rewarding.

Looking back, I never imagined just how fulfilling this experience would be. It exceeded every expectation I had, and I wish I could relive it all over again. Forever grateful to @scaddotedu , @scadfashiondesign , and to my senior professor @iamgemmamarsh

Designed to transform while remaining completely wearable…

Since it is made from leather, it has a corset underneath that supports the weight of the material and gives the dress its structure, making it surprisingly light and comfortable to wear.

A piece that has sparked conversations, stopped people in their tracks, and found its way to a movie premiere.

Shortlisted for the Real Leather. Stay Different. Design Competition and now shortlisted for the Global Creative Graduate Showcase 2026.

When a person emigrates, they become the luggage of their memories, traditions, and cultures, and “saudade” becomes the most important and constant feeling.

It is the feeling that reminds you of the past, but also pushes you forward. All that baggage passed down from generation to generation never disappears; it accumulates and becomes the most important inheritance we have left.

Last critique of Winter Quarter

This critique marked the moment we presented our first two looks in final fabric. Seeing my garments come to life after weeks of development, changes, and experimentation felt incredibly rewarding. Critiques became more than presentations; they were spaces where conversations about material choices, fit, silhouette, and storytelling pushed the collection further and where part of the magic truly happened.

Shoutout to all my models, but in this case to Emma and Siri because right before critique (when I was freaking out a little) they had me laughing so hard I forgot how nervous I was for a second. Those little moments honestly helped more than they probably know
