To late nights sewing in 102, filming dance practices, cramming essays and yapping at Monty…

Graduating came with saying goodbye to people that left a huge mark on my life. Each of them made my life bright, fun and eventful and I’m so glad to have met them throughout my time in college <3

Thank you for being my family away from home, having you by my side was the greatest gift I could ever have!

(Couldn’t include everyone but know I love and miss every single one of you <3)

Graduations never get easier I’m afraid lol

One year ago in April I decided to change careers and step into the world of acting. I was embraced by so many great people and students and quickly they made me feel something I haven’t felt in years: fulfilled.

Before that I worked in campus recreation for 5 years professionally and admittedly my well was drying out. However I had great kiddos that constantly reminded me why I got into it.

I owe it to these students. They were my joy, my audience and for a short time my kiddos. The world is going to see their talents and skills for what they are: phenomenal

When a person emigrates, they become the luggage of their memories, traditions, and cultures, and “saudade” becomes the most important and constant feeling.

It is the feeling that reminds you of the past, but also pushes you forward. All that baggage passed down from generation to generation never disappears; it accumulates and becomes the most important inheritance we have left.
