If you’ve been to the Gorge and foiled at The Hatchery, or anywhere else, you may have noticed how the foiling community welcomes visitors. Our goals therefore are to share that stoke and to highlight the human aspect of the sport. Decent chance we’ll talk about gear/technique, bring some local legends in to talk, and grab some visitors at the hatch when ya’all start arriving this summer.

Day 19 on this downwind sup foil journey. I’m standing in the waves and trying to paddle up on a few per session. I’ve gotten up on foil a few times only to wipe out horribly. This is the hardest thing that I’ve ever tried but I’m confident I can do it. The support of the sup community in the gorge is amazing. Thanks to all of those who have helped my journey so far.
