#whenelvesattack! Give ‘em a drink and years later….. they just keep comin’ back…… Sheesh….. At least we get to serve ‘em our patented “Reynier Stinger ™” 😂 and raise a Glass to Ron and Nelda, Scott Reynier’s parents, calabash "Auntie" and "Unko" to….. most of Hood River’s OG service employees! It’s great to live in a town where 35+ of our Vintners, CEO’s, Business Owners, Teachers, Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Moms and Dads, all think….. “You know what’s a good Idea tonight??? Let’s dress up like elves and be adult children…..” 😂😂😂. Kids, let this be a lesson to you. Act like your parents….

If you’ve never seen a bare roll cage before, they’re a dizzying assortment of perfectly welded triangles. Nothing to hide behind. Nothing extra. Just the bones of it.

This was January. Engine in, transmission mounted, but everything else still being reviewed, revised, improved.
What a thing — to start here and believe it could fly.

What do you do when there’s no wind, you’ve got a cold, and are looking at a hard-drive full of video clips? Create a podcast of course. See bio for extended version - follow and share please 🤙🏼

If you’ve been to the Gorge and foiled at The Hatchery, or anywhere else, you may have noticed how the foiling community welcomes visitors. Our goals therefore are to share that stoke and to highlight the human aspect of the sport. Decent chance we’ll talk about gear/technique, bring some local legends in to talk, and grab some visitors at the hatch when ya’all start arriving this summer.

PS - couple of call-outs in the pod - we tagged you 🤙🏼

YAY! It’s finally Halloween again!! This is one of our family’s favorite holidays!

I love this pic of @olepapajay and I because he really tolerates so much of my need for perfection. Helping me decorate, pose for pictures and run ridiculous errands. I appreciate him so much. I know we’re not the only couple that has made these faces to each other. But truth be told, he loves this night as much as I do. 😂

The best things come out of messy, chaotic challenges. Like this year when June’s costume didn’t make it on time. I had to Hail Mary something last minute and it turned out way better than any store bought costume.
Can’t wait to dress up, see everyone’s costumes and eat all the candy tonight!!!

Let’s take a trip down memory lane.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃👻

It’s Fall in Oregon and that means cooler temps, a bit of rain, and unsettled wind in our traditional, central Gorge downwind spots. But for those willing to drive an hour east to get out from under the unstable air, it can be some of the best DW conditions in the world with legitimate 10 to 30 mile options. From above you can see the swell line up across the river, and closer up you can see how big it gets. It’s a downwind Mecca. #loyaltothefoil #downwindfoiling #swellrider #riverriders #bigswell #foilsurfing
