“Remember, brothers and sisters, we’re not marketing a product. We’re not selling anything. We’re not trying to impress anyone with our numbers or our growth. We are members of the restored Church of Jesus Christ, empowered and sent forth by the Lord Himself to find, nourish, and bring safely into His Church those who are seeking to know the truth.

Right now, members have a special opportunity to share the gospel….

Member missionary work does not require the development of strategies or gimmicks. It does require faith—real faith and trust in the Lord. It also requires genuine love. The first great commandment is to ‘love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. … The second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself’

So let the power of love guide us in sharing the gospel with family members, friends, neighbors, business associates, and any other people we encounter as we go through life.“

~ M. Russell Ballard (The Essential Role of Member Missionary Work)

“We are not earning Heaven, we are learning Heaven.”
- Brad Wilcox

The grace and mercy of Jesus Christ is there for all who want to take it! His grace is sufficient to right every wrong, to heal every heart, to enable every weak thing… as long as we lean on Him! He is tough! He can carry anything you throw His way. You don’t have to be perfect to come to Him and ask for His help, just do it!

Imagine if Nephi, Abinadi, Captain Moroni, Samuel, or Joseph Smith had decided that the cost of obedience was too high?

It's natural to question, to justify, and sometimes even to resist the commandments we're given.

Even Jesus Christ, in Gethsemane, asked three times for the cup to pass from Him. He knew the suffering that lay ahead. He expressed His anguish to His Father. And still, He surrendered His will.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments” requires more than believing in Jesus Christ. It requires the faith to surrender our own will and say, “Not my will, but thine, be done.”

Not just when His will aligns with ours. Not just when obedience makes sense to us. Not just when it's easy.

Faith means trusting Him enough to let His will take precedence over our own. by @my.soul.essentials

It’s a sacred experience learning from little children. I hope we never loose the desire to be like them.

To love like they love.
To find joy in everything.
To be friends with strangers.
To be grateful for small things.
But most of all, to run to Jesus.

"Yet, whatever your personal circumstance, you are part—a key part—of the family of God and of your own family, whether in the future, in this world, or in the spirit world. Your trust from God is to nurture as many of His and your family members as you can with your love and your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ."

Latter-day Saints invite each other and all men and women everywhere to “come unto Christ.” As a prophet has told us in the Book of Mormon, “I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption.” - President Dallin H. Oaks

Jesus Christ is the answer to all things. ❤️

“TRUST in the lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” - Proverbs 3:5-6

Everyone needs reminders of love ❤️ Sometimes it’s fun to do it like this 🥹

If you’re stuck in the rut of parenting and need some connection, do this together! And then when you’ve asked all the questions, take a date night and ask why! You’ll learn so much. ❤️ AND IT’S FREE!

Who will do this with me? 🙋‍♀️

Imagine the difference we could make if millions of us simply shared what we know and believe about Jesus Christ.

I loved this talk by @gerald_causse .

Sometimes faith looks less like having everything figured out and more like just not quitting.

Keep walking. Keep trying. Trust God. Good things are still to come. 🤍

To clarify…. If you have a weakness or a doubt or a question, that doesn’t mean you are actively dwindling in unbelief. BUT if you choose to just accept those doubts and questions as “who you are” rather than allowing the atonement to change you, you WILL be dwindling until you no longer believe.

And if you actively appose something the prophets and apostles have taught or something that has been revealed in scripture, THAT is rebellion…. And we all know what happens to those who rebel.

❤️ we all can be better at this ❤️
