Creating from a place of pain and suffering.

In my Buddhist teaching I learned: to live is to suffer. It’s like an agreement you make with the universe when you accept the human experience. So… what the hell do we do to be happy? Something is always fucking up.

The Monk said: Learn how to welcome the suffering. Joy cannot exist w/o it.
Spiritualists say: Alchemize it.

I suppose I’m doing a bit of both right now. And that’s who I am.

MYAH [my -UH] | Actress, Model, Director, Producer
now, your photo journalist.😉

You know that behind perfect IG images is a real life of Success, Pain, Doubt, & Joy!

I innerstand that there’s beauty in the struggle. Let me authentically tell that story for you.

TMI:🙈
As an actress I chose powerful characters like Rue: Euphoria, Shug Avery: The Color Purple, Heath Ledger’s Joker.

II didn’t realize my characters had a pattern of something they were fighting for, against, or running toward.

RAW vs. EDITED | Jess🩰 Ash🩷🎀, Die 🤎

Raw photos= a dying art.

🎙️: Altering photos has plagued the photography industry. This makes sense because folks monetize their skills and want the best outcome for their clients.

But I always loved the way the camera naturally captured the art of my subjects.

The imperfection of the photo are what make them authentic. 🥹🥹 share if you feel compelled🤎🧘🏽‍♀️ by @myahtheprototype

As a creator, I am not here to overwhelm you. I create to alchemize, share, and evoke emotions.

Remember the motto: I like crab legs, not McDonald’s. The idea is that the luxuries in life cost more. More time, patience, and attention.

🔑 That’s the key here, the video will remain the same, but rather how I communicate what’s in the video will be different. Both are effective and arguably crab legs. But, which one do you prefer?

My excitement to get this out overcame me, hence why I was hard on myself at the end🫪…

You cannot rush yoga 🥹. It’s not just about the asana(poses). Yoga is a practice that is whole! Posing is just one piece fr.maybe I’ll go in depth one day on my YouTube channel if you’d be interested 🩰

Lol but once Myah gets an idea of a mini-film to ease into a theme, evoke a feeling, or tell a story, I literally speed thru the creative process😏 I love that feeling lowkey. PERO when it comes to yoga, we go slow 🧘🏾‍♀️

Clockin in feels like the time ain’t mine no more. I filmed this right after work when this song played & my subconscious mind just took over during that process.

My expressions are genuine. I am tired. Tired of giving my time to something else; and I loveeee my job! But… it’s not MY job.

Jhené’s music has been speaking to me lately and when I filmed this I noticed that it took me little to no time to get out. Lately I’ve been forcing creativity via the way I knew it. I guess this shows I’m outgrowing myself in a way. Also studying entrepreneurship on a masters level. Lol makes complete sense. by @myahtheprototype

AYITI 2026 | Our Sunnier Photos☀️ | Bry, Stacey, Phil, & Woody 🇭🇹 | @fgcu_hso

In honor of flag day being yesterday, imma be honest about this shoot.

We took these last year for @fgcu_hso e-board. Rescheduled the shoot because the pics were either too bright or too dark.

It was my first photoshoot and I had 0 idea about Lightroom.

Now, I’ve learned Lightroom: how to make sunny photos beautiful and darker photos pop.

What I love:
❤️ Their skin!
❤️Contrasts of the background
❤️The yellows and blues in the earth

I’m so happy time aged these photos for the better. Thank you for trusting me
