As a creator, I am not here to overwhelm you. I create to alchemize, share, and evoke emotions.

Remember the motto: I like crab legs, not McDonald’s. The idea is that the luxuries in life cost more. More time, patience, and attention.

🔑 That’s the key here, the video will remain the same, but rather how I communicate what’s in the video will be different. Both are effective and arguably crab legs. But, which one do you prefer?

My excitement to get this out overcame me, hence why I was hard on myself at the end🫪…

You cannot rush yoga 🥹. It’s not just about the asana(poses). Yoga is a practice that is whole! Posing is just one piece fr.maybe I’ll go in depth one day on my YouTube channel if you’d be interested 🩰

Lol but once Myah gets an idea of a mini-film to ease into a theme, evoke a feeling, or tell a story, I literally speed thru the creative process😏 I love that feeling lowkey. PERO when it comes to yoga, we go slow 🧘🏾‍♀️

Clockin in feels like the time ain’t mine no more. I filmed this right after work when this song played & my subconscious mind just took over during that process.

My expressions are genuine. I am tired. Tired of giving my time to something else; and I loveeee my job! But… it’s not MY job.

Jhené’s music has been speaking to me lately and when I filmed this I noticed that it took me little to no time to get out. Lately I’ve been forcing creativity via the way I knew it. I guess this shows I’m outgrowing myself in a way. Also studying entrepreneurship on a masters level. Lol makes complete sense.

I am completely burnt out.

Right after I graduated, I fell right into the new routine. Two jobs and a creative business @myahtheprototype
Marketing and directing for a startup that’s gonna change the world @thelostboombox

I never gave myself time to rest. I started to miss my old life, seeing my friends on social media all the time. So I deleted the app.

Before full-time work, my job was to be an actress and a social media marketer. My creative energy ALWAYS went elsewhere…

Anyways, now I’m just with myself. I fell out of the habit of recording everything that I do. I do less for others, so they do less for me. I felt less valued because once I stoped trying, others did too.

I’m blessed, I’ve invested so much, and I’m ready to come back but it’s hard. I still miss my old life and the people in it.

Here’s one of the few moments I’ve recorded lately.

Nothing comes from luck.

Especially with a dead mother, barely present father,
and independence that isn’t optional.

Sometimes the survival instincts is all that keeps me going.

Don’t wait until it gets to that point. Do what you love TODAY.
