Welcome and thank you for being here! This project will be all about self-discovery, happiness, and healing. Connecting with brothers and sisters across the diaspora is at the heart of my mission. I hope you'll follow along and join the journey. I appreciate your support so far and I'm thrilled to get going. 🙏🏿❤️

"My spirit is much calmer, I move much slower, I love more intentionally, and the chocolates got more chocolate. I've found community and myself here. Gratitude and servitude are two of my best friends. My creativity is surging."

And I'm only getting started, y'all. 🙏🏿❤️ by @mycrownwillnotperish

Unfortunately, Day 8 meant it was time to head back home. What an impactful trip with an amazing group of people!

I'll get to sharing a bit more about what I saw and learned, but figured I'd have a little fun sharing about my trip home first 😅

As heavy and impactful as the day began, Day 7 in Zanzibar ended with an experience that filled our hearts with so much joy.

After a lunch break at a lovely restaurant right on the water, we had a chance to spend time with the incredible children at a local orphanage. We played games and shared experiences that transcended language barriers. I'll never forget this day.
