"My spirit is much calmer, I move much slower, I love more intentionally, and the chocolates got more chocolate. I've found community and myself here. Gratitude and servitude are two of my best friends. My creativity is surging."

And I'm only getting started, y'all. 🙏🏿❤️ by @thewurdsmith

"I thought I came here looking for peace, but peace had been the one looking for me."

I did a thing and stepped away outside of my comfort zone recently. Shoutout to @noraa.james for capturing who I'm becoming 🙏🏿 by @thewurdsmith

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria 🇳🇬 by @thewurdsmith

XLV.

For the last 3-4 birthdays, I've opted for lowkey and even solo adventures while I focused on releasing the past and freeing my spirit. This year, I decided on a long weekend with family and a few close friends and I'm beyond full of gratitude.

I'm shifting from releasing what was to embracing a complete rediscovery of who I am, what I love, and how I want to leave the world a little bit better. Thank you for all of the love shown today and everyday. I'm just getting started (again) ❤️ by @thewurdsmith

Unfortunately, Day 8 meant it was time to head back home. What an impactful trip with an amazing group of people!

I'll get to sharing a bit more about what I saw and learned, but figured I'd have a little fun sharing about my trip home first 😅
