Today’s a perfect time to talk about one of my favorite breweries from my hometown — @cerveceriafausto from Monterrey, Mexico 🇲🇽 Because we’re just releasing a Bellwoods collab with them — our first one with a Mexican brewery — and honestly, that makes me so happy.

Fausto holds a special place in my heart. Besides brewing amazing lagers, classic IPAs, and solid stouts, they’ve managed to turn their brewery into the spot everyone in Monterrey loves to hang out at. I’ve celebrated birthdays there, collabs with friends, and plenty of lazy Sunday afternoons.

Oh, and they host the best Oktoberfest in the city, with lagers brewed with real care and patience! 🍻

Most importantly, they’re my friends, so today I wanted to share a little piece of them with you. If you ever find yourself in Monterrey, make sure to stop by and try their 18 taps. Trust me, you’ll find something you love.

Master Blend – Badlands x Third Moon x Blood Brothers
This Triple IPA is a complete banger! Packed with juicy hops, tropical fruit, and a little dank kick, it’s big, bold, and ridiculously tasty. Honestly, 8oz is all I need to be more than happy…

Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved baseball, and the Pirates and their ballpark always caught my eye, it’s such a beautiful stadium. So this past May I made my way to Pittsburgh, and besides watching Skenes pitch, another big highlight was definitely visiting Dancing Gnome and meeting Andrew, the founder and owner. I got to try several of their beers and they were straight bangers. One of them was Lustra, a super juicy Pale Ale, and my favorite, the Tmavé Pivo, a Czech Dark Lager.
If I make it back to Pittsburgh, this will for sure be my first stop.

For their 5th anniversary, our friends @thirdmoonbeer released this delicious DDH IPA, loaded with Citra and Citra Cryo, turning it into a beautiful flavor bomb; without a doubt, one of my favorites so far this year!

I remember when Jimbo told me about the idea for this West Coast IPA in collaboration with @smugglerstrail—I was stoked! Team West Coast all the way.

Crisp, piney, malty, and packed with the perfect dankness we crave in a Westie.

I couldn’t be happier with Bootlegger—at 7% ABV, it’s the perfect winter companion.

Every year, my end-of-year wish has been to visit more breweries and try new beers—and I still want that! But 2024 was different. This year, I met so many incredible people in the craft beer world, each with something to teach, and I’ve done my best to learn from them.

So, my wish for 2025 is to meet and connect with even more amazing people, collaborate with more breweries and individuals, and do my part to help the craft beer scene continue to grow. Most importantly, I want to keep surrounding myself with awesome, passionate people who inspire me.

Thank you to everyone I crossed paths with in 2024., for everything. Bring it on, 2025—I’m ready for all the new experiences and connections to come!

Clip Clop - West Coast IPA
Bellwoods Brewery & Willibald.

It features bright citrus and a little bit of piney notes, balanced by a subtle malt backbone. With a crisp, dry finish and moderate bitterness, it’s a refreshing and kinda-classic West Coast IPA.

I’m totally Team West Coast IPA.

I absolutely love the Oktoberfest season; it’s one of my favorite times of the year. I enjoy savoring good lagers, and this year, being in Toronto for the first time, it was fantastic to taste the excellent local brews.
