POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This past weekend I was able to achieve an amazing personal goal. I have obtained F.A.S.T. coin #23. @langdontactical and his predecessor Todd Green have been administering this test since 2007 and I’m told over 10k attempts have been made toward this challenging standard. So far I’m one of 23 shooters that has been able to crush this test.
•
I’m thrilled to share that hard work has been paying off and this was another strong confirmation that my approach to dry fire, live fire, and mindset development really works.
•
A huge shoutout and thank you to @modern_samurai_project for being a great friend and mentor. I would not be this far in my red dot and aiwb journey if it weren’t for his guidance and encouragement to crush goals. I also need to mention @point_1_tactics for always pushing the envelope in this same space of red dot/aiwb. You just keep showing people what’s possible! And of course thank you to @andersonshooting for all the mindset guidance.
•
There are tons of other people I could mention as great supporters but inevitably I will miss someone so I’ll refrain. If you’re on team MOD, thank YOU!
•
If you’re on this IG, thank YOU. Please keep spreading the word about MOD!
•
I will make another post with the breakdown of the F.A.S.T. test, my times, and the the gear I used.

What a great 3 days of training and shooting a match with @ericgrauffel

@jjracaza was in town for a bonus so he shot the match as well and I end third behind these two world champs. Not a terrible spot to be in.

Eric is down to earth, provides great feedback, and just a monster behind the gun. We cracked a few jokes, that’s for sure 😂

I’m certain my training will change some this off season. We’re going get fundamental on lockdown. Then expose fundamental issues in context.

World shoot in 3 years, the goal is set… work is in progress… improvement is noticeable

Bus stage from IPSC nats

Probably the most challenging match I’ve ever shot with tons of steel and movers on every stage.

85.10% on this one.

@eric.howitzerclothing Eric leading the @howitzerclothing team at the @theuspsa USPSA IPSC US Nationals! 🇺🇸🔥

Always great seeing these guys out there competing — and a big thank you to Howitzer Clothing for also stepping up as a match sponsor and continuing to support the shooting community.

Good luck to Eric and the whole team for the rest of the match! 👊

BRING THE TRAINING TO YOUR RANGE 🇺🇸
The 2027 calendar is officially open for hosts.
Every year I travel the country teaching 20+ public classes, plus private law enforcement training. Most of those classes happen because someone raised their hand and said, “Come teach here.”
If you’ve got a range, a group of shooters who want to get better, or a department that needs quality training, let’s build a class together.
🔹 Pistol Dominance
🔹 Red dot pistol
🔹 Rifle
🔹 AIWB Pistol
🔹 Law enforcement courses
You bring the range and the local connections. I’ll bring the curriculum, the instruction and the promotion.
Dates fill fast, so reach out now to lock in yours.

Big thank you to @howitzerclothing for always putting together the best crew together. @eric.howitzerclothing is not only a savage shooter but also a great human and I’m thankful to call him my friend! 🙏🏽

A couple weeks until IPSC nats. Stages are looking nasty for that.

Aggression will continue to lead the way.

Some times you do what you’re supposed to and you don’t hate yourself so much lol

There is no arrival…. You better enjoy the process or you’re going to quit

Get after it!

Partials and steel on the move, visual barriers and some distance

Winning doesn’t mean you did great! Sure it’s nice to see #1 at the end of the match, but that’s not a good indication of how you actually did

Had a bad match today. Walked by a target, and panic shot the classifier. Several make ups on steel, and just lacked concentration.

I have had many matches where I didn’t end in “1st place” but I performed more to my ability… those are the winning matches to me.
