Pagdiriwang ng Kahusayan 2026 🌟 PNAA, in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Washington D.C., proudly celebrates eleven of the 2026 Filipino and Filipino American Fellows of the American Academy of Nursing! 🌟 Their outstanding achievements and dedication to advancing healthcare in our community have been recognized and honored.

The celebration was held on October 9, 2026, at the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in D.C., attended by His Excellency Jose Manuel Romualdez, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the United States of America, PNAA delegates, distinguished guests, Fellows' sponsors, families, and friends. This event was organized by the Pagdiriwang ng Kahusayan Planning Team led by Lourdes Careaga, Dr. Bob Gahol, Dr. Patrick Soria and Sue Repotente.

Congratulations to all the honorees for inspiring excellence and leadership in nursing!

PNAA's Tribute to Dr. Lucille Joel PNAA honors the life and legacy of Dr. Lucille A. Joel, a cherished friend, mentor, and champion of Filipino nurses. Dr. Joel’s visionary leadership, unwavering support, and dedication to nursing excellence have left an indelible mark on our organization and the global nursing community.

Her commitment to advancing the profession, building bridges across borders, and empowering nurses to lead and advocate will continue to inspire us all. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dr. Joel’s family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
