🎉🩵 250! 🩵🎉

This morning I hit my 250th Pilates class milestone at Club Pilates! 🎉 that’s 250 times I showed up for myself, 250 times I thought I was gonna die but kept going anyway🤪, and 250 times I’ve gotten a little bit stronger! 💪🏻 Reformer Pilates hasn’t just changed my body it’s also changed my life in the sense that I no longer live in chronic pain from spine and knee issues - and that’s something I never thought could be possible!

It’s so important to love, cherish, and take care of your body. One of my favorite instructors at the end of every class reminds us to take a moment to thank our body for being able to do all the things we just asked it to do, and every single time it reminds me of the days debilitating pain made even the simplest things feel so hard, how far I’ve come, and how grateful I am for my body and what it can do! 💕

And maybe this can be your reminder too - it’s never too late to try something new (it takes a lot of courage to be willing to be a beginner!), as long as you have breath in your lungs your story isn’t over, and every day you have an opportunity to get 1% better! Your health is the greatest asset you have - invest in it and protect it! You’re worth it! 🫶🏻💖

Me: “I know a great place!” 🇮🇹

Plot twist: it only took an airport, a vaporetto, and a whole lot of points to get there. 🤪✈️🥂

Sometimes the best happy hour requires international travel with your mom! 🇮🇹❤️

The travel photo hack I wish I knew sooner…

POV: You finally get that perfect Venice photo… except Venice is full of tourists 😂🇮🇹 and your camera phone just doesn’t do it justice

Here’s a FREE hack that automatically makes your travel photos SO much better and professional looking…

The FREE Lightroom app (in addition to having the easiest to use, beginner friendly editing for color, light, sharpening, crop, etc) also has a Remove tool that has quickly become one of my all time favorite travel-photo tricks!

Swipe/slide to see the before & after.

Perfect for random people, garbage cans, or anything that kills the vibe (and did I mention the app is FREE?!)

Save this for your next trip! ✈️📸

🇮🇹✨ A little Murano glass shopping story… ✨🇮🇹

If you are going to Venice, you know the one thing you simply cannot leave without is a piece of stunning Murano glass! And if you do your research, you know that not all Murano glass is created equal. Many are mass produced, many are total fakes (they say half the “Murano glass” in Murano is actually made in China). You want pieces that are guaranteed, authenticated, and from known and established artisans - trusted sources created the authentic Venetian way!

And that’s exactly why I knew the only place I wanted to go: Franco Schiavon Gallery & Glass Studio.

My experience today at @schiavon.glass.gallery was INCREDIBLE. We just walked in off the street and they treated us like 5 star guests. The sales staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and you’re immediately blown away by the absolute BEAUTY of all the pieces in front of you. It’s actually overwhelming at first (in the best way!). They encourage you to touch the items, try them on, take them outside and see them in the sunlight. They tell you all about their exclusive artist, their methods, and how they’ve used the same furnace methods since the 1950s.

True Venetian Artistry. And it shows.

I found the most STUNNING pieces - each one so unique, colorful, DAZZLING, and beautifully crafted, but still timeless enough that I know I’ll love wearing them years from now. And I love that my pieces came with guarantee/authenticity documentation. That little bit of paperwork means so much when you’re investing in something that’s supposed to be genuine Murano glass. ❤️

There is something really special about bringing home a piece of Venetian artistry rather than just a souvenir.

I came to Murano looking for glass… and left with an entire ARM PARTY. I literally can not stop staring at them, and couldn’t resist wearing them all to dinner 😂💎✨

10/10 would do this again. 🇮🇹❤️

And if you’re planning your own trip to Venice and want some beautiful Murano glass jewelry or art, put the Schiavoni Glass Gallery at the TOP of your list. In fact, make it the entire list.
