Most builder grade dimmers only do one thing: dim or bright. That's it. In this reel, Mark walks through the Lutron lighting system @admitonehomesystems installed throughout @mysahus, and why it works nothing like the switches most of us grew up with. Real dimming technology shifts the quality of light throughout the day, not just the brightness, so the home can support how you actually feel from morning to night instead of working against it. That's the same thinking @auroraonelighting brought to every fixture in this house. Lighting design here wasn't about picking something pretty. It was about layering warm, tunable light that follows the day's natural rhythm, a wellness decision as much as a design one. Two teams, one goal: a home that feels as good as it looks. We got @houseofrohl to walk us through how this faucet is actually made, start to finish, and it's a level of craftsmanship most people never see. The faucet in the Mysa Hus kitchen is handcrafted in Britain by Perrin & Rowe, a luxury brand under the House of Rohl, using solid brass that's melted down and hand ladled straight into the mold, one at a time, by people who've been doing this for a long time. No shortcuts, no mass production line. Just skill you can feel every time you turn on the water. Thank you @artfullivingmag for telling the story of Mysa Hus the way it deserved to be told. This home was never about square footage. Mark built it around one feeling: sitting in the sunroom with a hot cup of coffee and a wool blanket on a cold January morning. Everything followed from there. The brass stars in the entry floor. The rosemaling hand painted on the kids' beds. The wellness house with its sauna and cold plunge. Even the air and water were designed on purpose. And then there's the fireplace, the one thing that didn't fit the plan, kept anyway, because some things are worth holding onto even when they're not perfectly practical. We're so proud of this one. People walk into @mysahus, look down, and ask where we found reclaimed flooring this beautiful. The truth is even better. This floor is aged French white oak, produced in Belgium by @oxbow_hardwoods, and every board is brand new wood made to look like it's lived a full life already. That's not a small trick. It takes next level manufacturing to take fresh oak and give it the character, the movement, the worn in warmth of something decades old, without actually waiting decades for it. We joke that this flooring is like a fine wine. It just comes that way already aged to perfection, no cellar required. It's finished in linseed oil instead of the usual synthetic topcoats, which fits everything else about this home. Mysa Hus was built around wellness from the ground up, literally, and a natural oil finish underfoot is part of that same thinking. Thank you @oxbow_hardwoods for pulling off something that looks impossible and somehow gets more character with every step. by @mysahus
