My name is Missy, and I am the oldest (and the tallest 🥴)! Depending on your source I’m either a late Gen-Xer, or super early millennial. Basically, 80s music and 90s R&B are BAE, so I’ll be talking about that…a lot. I’m a mom to an amazing young man who I strive to be like when I grow up. I love to travel, read, sleep, and eat. My family is my life & they keep me sane.
Music and books are my go-to’s for remaining centered and escaping when life gets challenging. I’m excited to start this project with my favorite person in the world (who you’ll meet soon) and I pray y’all enjoy the upcoming show!

Allow us to introduce ourselves!

I'm Camille, and I am the baby of our duo! I'm a true millennial that grew up listening to Destiny's Child, chose N'Sync over Backstreet Boys (fight me🤷🏾‍♀️), had posters from Word Up Magazine of Bow Wow and B2K all over my bedroom walls, and is still rocking a side part. I love 90s R&B and early 2000s hip hop so expect to hear a lot of passion from me in those departments Lol! I'm a wife to a crazy but big-hearted Gemini, pray for me yall🤣 I love to try new foods and wines, travel, listen to true crime podcasts, and of course, listen to music! Sipping a glass of cab or pinot noir while I cook and zone out to a podcast or music is my favorite way to relax. I'm super excited to dive into this new venture with my big sis (check out her introduction too, btw) and I just know y'all will love what we have in store!

Celebrating Beyoncé's bday was fun, but October is all about the countdown to Corinne!! 🎉

This year marks 20 years since the release of @corinnebaileyrae self titled debut album. If you know me at all, you know how much this album means to me. So I'm beyond excited to be preparing to go see Corinne perform this album in it's entirety at the final stop of her tour at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London!

August: Stressed, blessed, and ON TO THE NEXT!

My GOODNESS August was a LOT! But I won’t complain because everything I (and my beautiful family) had to do this month was all worth it!

It started with having to finish packing up my apartment, then I took a quick trip to NYC to see my fav Tracee Ellis Ross, then hurried back and MOVED said apartment, then finish my CPEs to renew my CPA license, oh and saw Tommy Davidson at the Improv, and my birthday was thrown in there too.

I call August the month of upgrades. I work hard and I’m blessed to be able to enjoy the fruits of that labor. Now it’s time to UNPACK and rest and finish tax busy season without losing my mind.

Bring on the cooler temps (but not winter though, yuck!)

🤩NOBODY TALK TO ME UNTIL 2027🤩

Please bear with me because I’m STILL overwhelmed from seeing one of my idols up close and personal!

If you know me well, you know how much I admire and resonate with @traceeellisross . She just embodies the ultimate way of thinking and experiencing LIFE with intentionality. Her focus on going after your joy, living your most authentic and autonomous and sovereign life.

Doing the things you want to do, and seeing the places you want to see and NOT ASKING FOR PERMISSION TO DO SO. She’s sooooooo important and I don’t just see her as a public figure. I see her as someone that EMBODIES and is self-led. This this THIS!

So I decided for my bday, I’d treat myself to dinner & her Broadway debut @brilliantbway Every Brilliant Thing and make it a quick trip because life is LIFE-ING at the moment.

Y’all? Why did my ticket turn out to be ON STAGE and one of the participants in the show?! Only reason I didn’t sob is because I’d be heard by the audience on mic. She was EVERYTHING and so nice and approachable when giving instructions on how/what to say! I did not clock that I’d be on stage (you’ll see me in that next to last clip)!

Ray Charles was just one of the many amazing tracks played during the monologue performance. We cried, we laughed like crazy, and even danced with her on stage! I’m outdone and so grateful for this experience.

Needless to say, this is going on my very on list of brilliant things. Whew🥹🥹

One of me and Baby Sis’ mottos is: now that we make grown folk money, we’re gonna see the legends and give them their flowers while we still have the chance!

And @therealtommycat is definitely a legend that we had to go see IMMEDIATELY when he came to town! We had to make it a girls night with our favorite girl because the way my a$$ was GRASS if I hadn’t recorded “In Living Color” for mom while she was at work 🤣

Ahh the memories, and yall. How is it possible this man got MORE FUNNY?😩 We were sweating and fanning and stomping our feet, my goodness it felt good!

And the bookworm in me HAD to get a copy of his memoir “Living in Color.” You have got to pick this up! He was so kind and easy to talk to at the meet and greet! @addisonimprov always brings a great time!
