Celebrating Beyoncé's bday was fun, but October is all about the countdown to Corinne!! 🎉

This year marks 20 years since the release of @corinnebaileyrae self titled debut album. If you know me at all, you know how much this album means to me. So I'm beyond excited to be preparing to go see Corinne perform this album in it's entirety at the final stop of her tour at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London!

Drop any London travel tips for me in the comments!

August: Stressed, blessed, and ON TO THE NEXT!

My GOODNESS August was a LOT! But I won’t complain because everything I (and my beautiful family) had to do this month was all worth it!

It started with having to finish packing up my apartment, then I took a quick trip to NYC to see my fav Tracee Ellis Ross, then hurried back and MOVED said apartment, then finish my CPEs to renew my CPA license, oh and saw Tommy Davidson at the Improv, and my birthday was thrown in there too.

I call August the month of upgrades. I work hard and I’m blessed to be able to enjoy the fruits of that labor. Now it’s time to UNPACK and rest and finish tax busy season without losing my mind.

Bring on the cooler temps (but not winter though, yuck!)

🤩NOBODY TALK TO ME UNTIL 2027🤩

Please bear with me because I’m STILL overwhelmed from seeing one of my idols up close and personal!

If you know me well, you know how much I admire and resonate with @traceeellisross . She just embodies the ultimate way of thinking and experiencing LIFE with intentionality. Her focus on going after your joy, living your most authentic and autonomous and sovereign life.

Doing the things you want to do, and seeing the places you want to see and NOT ASKING FOR PERMISSION TO DO SO. She’s sooooooo important and I don’t just see her as a public figure. I see her as someone that EMBODIES and is self-led. This this THIS!

So I decided for my bday, I’d treat myself to dinner & her Broadway debut @brilliantbway Every Brilliant Thing and make it a quick trip because life is LIFE-ING at the moment.

Y’all? Why did my ticket turn out to be ON STAGE and one of the participants in the show?! Only reason I didn’t sob is because I’d be heard by the audience on mic. She was EVERYTHING and so nice and approachable when giving instructions on how/what to say! I did not clock that I’d be on stage (you’ll see me in that next to last clip)!

Ray Charles was just one of the many amazing tracks played during the monologue performance. We cried, we laughed like crazy, and even danced with her on stage! I’m outdone and so grateful for this experience.

Needless to say, this is going on my very on list of brilliant things. Whew🥹🥹

Pardon the boxes because your girl is moving!📦

But baaaaby when I tell you I had a time going down to the package room today and getting my goodies! I was especially surprised when I discovered I got an INSANE deal on the Aaliyah Red & Gold Galaxy vinyl!

And @michaelmovie is now in my grabby hands!! I’m so happy! They’re both immediately getting packed up but I just had to open today!

Hope y’all’s July is going well! Gotta get back to work 😰

Had such a fun time at @paintingwithatwist last night! It was all about Michael Jackson so yall already know we couldn't miss it. Plus I've really been getting into painting lately, so I was excited to be working with a person to guide me. (Keep watching to see some of my other attempts at artwork😆🫣).
