Hi everyone! whether you’ve just found my work or have been here for a while, thanks for being part of my tattoo journey.

I’ve been working hard to deepen my understanding of this craft- and theres so much more to learn! ^.^

I’m especially interested in exploring more pattern work, tribal influences, Taiwanese tribal, and ornamental styles. These are areas I’m committed to studying and honoring as I continue to grow.

Along the way, I’ll also be sharing other drawings that inspire me as I continue to experiment and develop my visual language.

Thank you all for the support! It means a lot. I’m looking forward to creating more 🌀

Working progress for CJ in brown ink☀️
These patterns are inspired by the ancient Đông Sơn bronze drums of Vietnam, embracing her Vietnamese roots. This is just part one of the journey.

We are also working around a scar🙈

I thought I’d attempt to make a reel for Taiwanese diaspora folks 😅 and anyone interested. This is another superficial layer of “information” on the history of Taiwans Atayal(Tayal) Tattoo traditions. This is not intended for “academic” purposes.

The photos citations are complied in a link in my bio

And just to be clear: this is not intended to bash Japan or Japanese people. Just sharing the impact of colonialism on Indigenous cultures in Taiwan.

💛

Thank you!

Healed work and progress shot of Rahkeem. An on going collaboration to bring his vision to life.

My client originally told me he wanted a “curse aesthetic” 😭 I told him I wasn’t going to curse him, nor tattoo the reference “language” from the costume tattoo stickers he had found online. I don’t know what energy those symbols were created with or intended to hold, and I didn’t want to replicate something without knowing its meaning.

He didn’t want a curse either, “curse” was just the word he used to articulate at the time. I love communication🏋🏻‍♀️

while co-creating this, I held and moved through the feelings of warrior energy, strength, love, expansion, knowledge, personal freedom…and lets those feelings create the formation and movement of the strokes.

Thats the magic and beauty of art, through art we can create a visual language that can translate a persons story and perhaps frequency. In some ways it kind of reminds me of that one SpongeBob episode with the magical pencil and the drawings come to life…except in this case we aren’t having doodle bob chaos 😂

Asymmetrical concept for Leina 💜
Had fun playing around with the other side of what we worked on last year. Love how this one came together.

Available to tattoo🌀
They are drawn small on here but I envision some to be scaled larger to better age on the body over time. I’m open to minor changes 🤸🏻‍♀️

Progress shot of something I’ve been working on @jxsmynn_ink. All handpoked. Right side fresh & middle ornament/left side healed. Excited to continue it… stay tuned🤗

Although at times Handpoke can be unpleasant, which can depend on various factors such as placement and thickness of needles needed, tattoos done through this application typically to heal faster than the machine. Technically it is less abrasive than the machine even if it looks crazy (fun fact)🙇🏻‍♀️
