Another recap of my time on O’ahu. In addition to my research in the library, my experiential learning was invaluable.
Huge thank you to my new friend Brit who showed me around, shared long conversations about our learning and tattoo practices, and gave me some new ink. ✨
I’m also so thankful to Professor Jerome Feldman, who allowed us to audit his Oceanic Art class, and even adjusted his lecture schedule to ensure he covered Palau while I was there. 🌊
Thankful to my boy Tomi in the library, who set aside books that he thought I’d enjoy during my next visits, after only meeting once! 🤙🏽
And endlessly thankful to Aisea, the team at Soul Signature, and every individual who met me for coffee for allowing me the space to observe, learn, and share. 🙏 🙏
