POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
There may be no « real you » waiting to be found. We’re born with a temperament, not a finished set of desires. The rest is built from what we were shown and taught to want.
The problem isn’t inheriting roles. It’s never examining them.
So knowing yourself isn’t digging for a hidden core. It’s asking, of everything you carry: now that I see where it comes from, do I still stand behind it?
Some things will fall away. Others, though inherited, become yours by endorsement.

Certaines choses tomberont. D’autres, bien qu’héritées, deviendront nôtres par adhésion. by @nabiltaharworld

Field Notes, Year 2XXX

After the Great Silence, the networks went dark and the world before became sacred.
They don’t call themselves survivors but heirs: dead screens, cables and feathers are their relics.
Each one carries a role, and every object has a use no one truly understands anymore.
I am the Witness: I film before my battery becomes a relic in turn.
Only one of them smiles, and he knows something the others have forgotten.

Relevés de terrain, an 2XXX

CHERRY RED

Where silence wears couture.

A study in obsession.
A dialogue between light, shadow and scarlet.
Hidden places. Unspoken stories.
Nothing demands attention.
Everything commands it.

—

CHERRY RED

Tout l’impose. taken in Paris, France by @nabiltaharworld

The ‘leg’ object: a series, a variation, nothing original.
What the curtain conceals says more than what it reveals.
A modular body, a sculptural base — walking was not the aim.
Fragmentation comme forme, sérialité comme sujet. taken in Paris, France by @nabiltaharworld

Here, there’s no bride in white feigning surprise at a ritual that’s been repeated for a thousand years.

Mustard-coloured suitcases lined up to the millimetre, a miniature band playing a little too loudly for the occasion, bridesmaids dressed to match like accessories — and wedding conventions carried out with such earnestness that it becomes comical.

Before the toasts prepared three weeks in advance, the traditions we follow without ever having chosen them, and the roles we slip into like a suit hired for the day, there is that one detail we’ve almost forgotten: ourselves. That slightly absurd part of us, precise to the point of obsession, which stubbornly refuses to fit into the prescribed framework.

To come together without playing a part we didn’t write.
To get married without taking ourselves too seriously.
Choosing the other person — and not the script we were sold along with them.

Perhaps the most beautiful commitment is the one that keeps one eyebrow raised in the face of one’s own ceremony: remaining unique amidst the protocol, and building together an order that is ironic enough to be sincere.

Concrete geometry, sharp tailoring, repetitive lines, controlled silhouettes.
A cold form of power moving through post-war modernism.

What if fashion could be felt before it is seen?

For Iris van Herpen, clothing becomes an extension of consciousness. Inspired by neurology, synesthesia, and altered states of perception, the designer pushes beyond the boundaries of the tangible to create fashion that speaks to the senses as much as to the mind.

Suspended between dream and reality, her silhouettes shape the invisible and challenge the way we experience the world.

It’s been there since 1889. As for them,
they don’t need to stay there long to leave their mark on the place.

TAO DANG conceives of clothing as an architecture of the body.
Volumes, lines and fabrics give rise to silhouettes sculpted by movement and space. Drawing inspiration from the dialogue between the contemporary Japanese avant-garde and Parisian craftsmanship, the brand has developed an approach in which the construction of the garment becomes a language in its own right.
Made in Paris, each piece reflects a quest for form, fabric and sustainability.
