Shout out to Tri Santa Cruz for my first Triathlon!🌊

Signed up a few months ago on a whim and it was overall a fun event and my training for it definitely helped me grow as an individual.

I’ve always hated longer distances of running (anything over 1 mile 💀) and could never did it consistently. When I first signed up I went on another whim just to push myself to do uncomfortable things and did a daily streak of running at least one mile a day. I was able to get to about 110 days consecutively before ultimately losing count and ending the streak.

I’ve become more disciplined with my training overall now and have sparked excitement overall for my training and hunger for it!

Having something to move towards has always helped me through the rough patches of doubt in my life and I’m glad these last few months have become physical and emotional growing pains with other things going on in my life.

I honestly still kinda hate running LMAO but I’m excited to see what else I can do.

We’ll see what my next event is eventually. 😎

Much love to my friends, family and especially my partner.

If you made it this far thanks for reading. 🫶 by @nacuuuu
