It was a great honour and privilege to meet with His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, in London. We enjoyed a fruitful and engaging discussion on opportunities to further strengthen collaboration between the United Kingdom and Ghana, particularly in healthcare, medical education, transplantation, and scientific innovation. I look forward to building on this valuable exchange and contributing to initiatives that will deepen the ties between our two nations and bring lasting benefits to their people. by @nadeyhakim

It is a tremendous honour and privilege to have commenced my Presidency of the History of Medicine Section of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), one of the United Kingdom’s most distinguished medical institutions. I look forward to building upon the Section’s remarkable legacy, celebrating the extraordinary achievements that have shaped the evolution of medicine, and fostering a deeper appreciation of how our medical heritage continues to inspire innovation and excellence in modern healthcare. To understand the future of medicine, we must first appreciate the extraordinary journey of its past. An unforgettable evening of music, friendship and international harmony at St Barnabas Church in Pimlico, London!
What a truly magical and memorable concert, made even more special by the presence of so many distinguished guests, cherished friends and music lovers.
I was particularly honoured and delighted to welcome His Excellency Professor Stephen Montefort, High Commissioner of Malta to the United Kingdom, and the Honourable Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, and composer Sir Karl Jenkins whose gracious presence added immense distinction to this wonderful occasion.
Sharing the stage with the magnificent Orchestra Giovani Armonie from Italy conducted by Maestro Bassam Challita @bassamchallita was an absolute joy, celebrating the universal language of music and its extraordinary power to bring together people, cultures and nations.
My heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us and contributed to making this evening such a resounding success.
A night of beautiful music, treasured friendships and unforgettable memories that will remain in my heart for years to come! by @nadeyhakim

My dear friend Prof Nadey Hakim invited me to give a surprise performance of the famous AVE MARIA by Caccini which we performed tonight as a duet with him on Clarinet.

We were accompanied by the youth Orchestra Giovani Armoni who came all the way from Tuscany with their artistic director
Laureta Cuku Hoda. To have the fabulous Maestro Bassam Challita conduct was absolutely wonderful.

To have Sir Karl Jenkins sitting in the front row and praising our duet after the concert made the evening extra special.
