It is a tremendous honour and privilege to have commenced my Presidency of the History of Medicine Section of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), one of the United Kingdom’s most distinguished medical institutions. I look forward to building upon the Section’s remarkable legacy, celebrating the extraordinary achievements that have shaped the evolution of medicine, and fostering a deeper appreciation of how our medical heritage continues to inspire innovation and excellence in modern healthcare.
