Going all the way to Mexico City for 67 hours with a couple weeks notice to run in the mountains with a bunch of people I don’t know who run more in one week than I do in an entire year, makes absolutely zero sense.

Responding with “I’m in” when @brogangraham asked, was almost crazy as being asked the question.

Life has changed so much these last few years in the best of ways. But that change has also meant I’m not able to just pick up and go. My physical ability is also not where it used to be. But there was no time to train and no time to prepare myself to run at 3000m elevation. Everything about this was going to be a challenge - physically, mentally and emotionally.

Maybe that’s just the point of it all. The adventure is in seeing what’s still possible. And yes, those possibilities go far beyond what you can imagine.

With everything that happened in those 67 hours, it makes more sense that I dreamt the entire thing. But if it was just a dream, why do I have these incredible pictures from @acinthemind and @jorge.sotel.o
