Mexico City - we’ll be back ❤️

A whirlwind of adventure, fast friends, art, food, and joy. A weekend with Outward x @airelibre.run followed by exploring this magical city filled my heart. There was so much to do and so much to eat that, oh no, we’ll just have to come back again!! Thank you @maudac and @brogangraham for a kickass running experience!! I hope the bonds we made with everyone there, new and old, will lead to more adventures. Finding opportunities to say yes and connect like this is something I’ll cherish - thank you!!

While this city has been on the list for ages, the trip all started with a mistaken identity, leading to a ‘fuck it let’s go’ moment, and an unforgettable journey.

Thank you @acinthemind and @jorge.sotel.o for helping to capture the magic

Outward x Aire Libre Experience 🇲🇽

I’ve had a couple weeks now to reflect and soak in this incredible trip. Huge shoutout to @airelibre.run and @brogangraham for bringing this experience to life and for selflessly gifting your time to bring us all together and create lifelong memories.

I got to meet so many incredible people with diverse backgrounds and lives, while being brought together with the same love for running. I got to run through the trails in the mountains and saw breathtaking views. I got to run and explore Mexico City, seeing the heart of it and some cool landmarks. I got to experience a Temazcal Ceremony, which was a spiritual, emotional, and reviving experience. And of course I got to eat lots of quesadillas and tacos 😋

This trip reminded me how fulfilling being a part of a community is. Feeling a sense of connection, belonging, and support impacts my life in such a positive way. It’s special that we were able to build these moments together in such a short amount of time. Thank you to everyone for giving me that 🤍

There aren’t enough words for the pure joy of doing what I love — sharing my home, the one I don’t get to live in anymore but will always love, with a community of fantastic and marvelous individuals, all glued together by this awesome creature, @brogangraham .

@airelibre.run x Outward / Mexico City Experience!

Thank you for capturing the magic, @acinthemind — you’re not only an artist, but a solid athlete too.

Of course thank you @lululemon for outfitting me with not only great looking outfits, but very functional as well. Always feel my best in them.

Do you know someone who would be a valuable Board Director at the EAC? Nominations are now open! 📢

The EAC is seeking at least two, and up to four new Directors to begin in June 2026. Directors are elected by the membership to a three-year term, for up to two consecutive terms. The Board is committed to governing the Edmonton Arts Council at a strategic and policy level. Potential Directors must be prepared to commit their volunteer time and engagement to advance that work.

Nominations are encouraged from diverse communities, expertise and backgrounds. Individuals with prior governance experience, legal and accounting backgrounds are being prioritized based on the current needs of the Board.

If you are interested in being nominated, or in nominating someone else, you need to be a member of the Society.

Deadline for nominations: March 27, 2026 👈

See "Work with the EAC" at the link in our bio for more information 🔗

Indoor signup is officially CLOSED!

We had a huge amount of interest this year, and every spot went to runners committed for the full season. Because of that, we likely won’t be taking monthly signups.

We’ll still be outdoors while the weather holds so come join us there if you missed winter registration! 🍂🏃‍♀️

The team showed up big at the inaugural @lululemon Chase the Pace track event! 🏃‍♀️🔥

We had an absolute blast tearing through some spicy 400m laps and even managed to sweep the top spots with @goitalone and @its.me.jenn.w taking home first-place finishes! 🥇Jenn was the only woman to complete the 1:16 lap and Kris was the only man to finish the 1:00 lap!

Huge thanks to @leemar25, the whole Lulu crew, @lswaino, and @natecharrois for putting on such an incredible event. It was so fun racing alongside other run clubs. Edmonton really is such a special community. ❤️
