If I win the lotto there will be signs.

A little backstory. This is where my grandfather lived and sold medicine. This is what it looks like now after the Vietnam war. I got to see my mom’s childhood home. It was a lovely little town in a mini “city”. Everyone knew each other. This was so heartwarming.
.
We also went to visit her brother’s burial location, which is often in someone’s backyard as they sell portions of their land if they use it for agriculture. Truly astonishing and overall eye opening,

I never got to officially post about Greys life cause it’s been really hard…like 6 months and I can finally talk about him hard…
.
First, thank you to everyone who reached out and had incredibly kind words to say about Grey.
It really meant a lot to me and It felt so nice to know he was very loved.
.
Secondly, I apologize to everyone who did reach out and didn’t receive a response, Thank you for your grace, patience and understanding.

Grey was my first dog.
He felt like my only friend a lot of the time.
He taught me love, patience and loss.

So I decided to ask the love @amiluu_scribble to commission some great moments of greythehuskydoggo

BIG thank you to @cjcorna for the stickers.

Thank you all, again.
It means the world to me.

I had this archived and private due to the weight of watching everything I built brick by brick for myself come to end.

In reality I should have celebrated the experience, journey and the hard work I put into being somewhere I never thought I would be. Against all odds. Despite moving to WHQ during the worst conditions and times of Covid, losing my only support (best director), I made it out the other side.

I look forward to what comes next for the rest of the year, maybe one day I get to finish that 5 year plan I had.

This is all to reflect that anything is possible. by @nahbroitscool

I hope you’re resting in a field of golden flowers.

My only Grandmother lived a long and hard life. I will always be grateful for every moment I got to have with her.
I feel like I’ve gotten almost too good at compartmentalizing that I’m not sure I even got to fully grieve while laying her to rest. It’s a blessing and a curse. The Asian way of just working and pushing through and pretending everything is fine.

Thank you to everyone who reached out. I truly appreciate you taking the time to just be human.
