I have a new novel coming out in May 2027 from @orbitbooks_uk on their @runforitbooks_us ! It’s called May The Sea Smother You, the Great Lakes gothic shipwreck horror you may have already known you needed...
You can pre-order it now from anywhere, but there are links in www.nicholaspullen.com
If you do pre-order, hang on to your receipt, because I’ll be very grateful and will want to do something later for pre-orderers. Publishers do watch pre-order metrics very carefully to determine how much marketing muscle to put behind the book, so you’ll be doing me a solid!
Excited to share it with you. Also, if you’re in the Yukon I’ll be headlining @yukonwords Words Out Loud event on October 21st, so you can come see me do a reading! Word premiere, now that I think about it... by @najpullen

“I remembered what it felt like to be bored.
To be at a loose end. To have nothing in particular to do. My phone, I realized on a visceral, and not just an intellectual level, had stolen that from me. There is always, always, something to distract me when I turn it on. It’s designed to do it.“

“A Texas University recently banned a work of Plato’s from its curriculum for being infected with woke gender ideology. A group of my friends, laughing incredulously, were debating which work of Plato’s could possibly have drawn the fascist ire.
I knew immediately, without having to be told. It was the Symposium.” Link in Bio by @najpullen
