The National Assembly Library is pleased to announce the 2026 National Assembly Library Week, scheduled to take place from Monday, September 28, to Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at the National Assembly Library, Abuja.

With the theme “Parliamentary Memory: Connecting Records, Legislation and the People,” the three-day programme aims to promote awareness and use of parliamentary information resources, enhance access to legislative records, and advance the National Assembly Library’s role in supporting effective legislation, oversight, and representation.

The opening ceremony of the Library Week, will also commemorate the International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI); a day adopted by the United Nations, to emphasize the right to seek, receive, and impart information as a core pillar of democracy, and sustainable development.
